Inpatient Orthopedic Surgery PA Opportunity in San Francisco

Job description

• Specialty: Orthopedics
• Location: San Francisco, CA
• Schedule: 4x10hr shifts per week; 7a-5:30p
• Manage pre and post orthopedic surgical patients on an acute care floor
• Patient population/age: Adults and geriatric (occasionally we do get older teens for othopedic injuries)
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital bed size: 15 to 35 ortho patients usually split between two APPs
• Special procedures: Dressing changs, wound vac changes, drain removal
• Board Certification: NCCPA (PA-C)
• DEA: Yes, CA with schedule 2/2n required
• AHA BLS
• Must have at least 2 years inpatient orthopedic surgery experience
• Preference for providers with total hip, total knee, ortho trauma, and spine experience

• No Call
• Medical Malpractice Provided
