Surgical Orthopedic PA Needed in Mammoth Lakes, CA

Job description

Start date: 1/4/2027
Contract Length: 6 months, with option to extend.
Schedule: 3 days per week, 12 hour shifts

Department Description:
· Provide orthopedic care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
· Assist in the medical and surgical care of orthopedic patients
· Work closely with attending orthopedic surgeons
· Function as first or second assist in the operating room
· Surgical responsibilities include surgical exposure, dissection, layered wound closure, application of dressings, and placement of immobilization devices
· Provide clinic coverage and assist with the evaluation and management of orthopedic patients

Requirements:
· Active California Physician Assistant license required
· BLS certification
· Active DEA license
· Minimum 3 years of experience across inpatient, outpatient, and surgical care
