Locum Orthopedic Surgeon needed in Arizona

Job description

Orthopedic Surgery – Arizona
Dates: April 24–27 (7a–7a)
Schedule: 24-hour call coverage with half-day clinic
Coverage Type: Hospital-based with beeper call

Practice Details:
• Hospital setting with 24-hour beeper coverage
• Average of 2 surgical cases per day
• Approximately 6 new consults per day
• Minimal overnight coverage needs after 10pm
• Adult patient population
• Cases include pelvic and acetabular fractures, with some pediatric cases
• Scrub tech support available (no APP first assist)
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active Arizona license required (IMLC LOQ considered)
• DEA required
• BLS required
• Minimum 1 year of experience

Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 21 days

This is a great short-term call opportunity with manageable surgical volume and quick credentialing.
