Locum Orthopedic Surgeon - IMLC Accepted - AZ

Job description

An established facility in Arizona is seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon for an ongoing locum assignment beginning March 9, 2026 - but they have ongoing needs. This is a 24-hour beeper call position at a Level IV trauma facility with expedited credentialing available.

Position Overview:
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: 24-hour beeper call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Response Time: 15 minutes required
Call includes both beeper coverage and call-back

Practice Setting
- Level IV Trauma Facility
- Inpatient and outpatient coverage required
- 12-bed department
- 5–7 patients per day
- Patient consults included
- Support staff: 1 RN and 1 MA

Requirements:
- Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
- Active Arizona license or IMLC eligibility required

Credentialing
- Expedited timeframe: 5–7 days
