Orthopedist - Medical Legal / Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME)
Job description
We are seeking Orthopedists that are boarded in the state of California (not required to live in California) to act as a Medical Legal / Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME). The Doctor will be performing evaluations related to Worker Compensation cases.
- Schedule: Create your own schedule and choose which days (Monday - Saturday) and hours (8am - 5pm).
- Location: Evaluations are completed in-person in-office, with flexibility to write reports from your home or office.
- Compensation: Billing starts at $2,015 per evaluation, plus additional reimbursement for records. Opportunity to earn $100,000-$500,000/year.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree with board certification in Orthopedics.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
