📋 Contract Details
🔹 Anticipated Start Date: July 2026 / ASAP
🔹 Length of Assignment: 6 months
🔹 Schedule: 2 clinic days (8a–5p), 2 OR days weekly
🔹 OR Schedule: Typically Mondays and Fridays (flexible for the right candidate)
🔹 Call Requirements:
🔹 Weekend call: 1 in 7 weekends (Friday 5p – Monday 7a)
🔹 Weeknight call: Shared among 7 surgeons (some weeks none, some weeks 1 night)
🔹 Call Responsibilities: ER phone consults and inpatient rounding within 24 hours of admission
🔹 EMR: Epic
🔹 Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 3 months for temporary privileges

🏥 Work Details & Patient Scope
🔹 Practice Setting: Level II Trauma Center
🔹 Patient Volume: 25–30 patients per day in clinic
🔹 Surgical Volume: Approximately 8–10 cases per week
🔹 Case Mix: ACL, MCL, PCL, meniscus, knee and ligament repairs, bread-and-butter sports medicine cases; hip arthroscopy experience preferred
🔹 Team Structure: 6 Orthopedic Surgeons on staff
🔹 APP Support: PAs/NPs assist with post-ops, serve as first assists in OR, and help manage call coverage

📋 Candidate Requirements
🔹 Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
🔹 Fellowship Training: Sports Medicine required
🔹 Active Illinois license or IMLC eligibility required
🔹 DEA required
