SUMO Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Orthopedic Surgery physician (MD/DO) for a locum tenens opportunity in Harlan, Kentucky. This role offers clinic and call coverage with flexible scheduling options and expedited credentialing starting June 2026.

Position Details-
Start: Anticipated June 1, 2026
Coverage Type: Ongoing
Schedule-
Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:00a–4:30p
Call: 24‑hour call coverage (7:00a–7:00a)
Scheduling Flexibility: Open to alternative work weeks, 14/14, or split coverage (negotiable)
Support: No current mid‑level support

Clinical Scope-
Total joint procedures
Fracture management
Carpal tunnel releases
Arthroscopic procedures

Requirements-
Active, unrestricted Kentucky medical license (in hand)
IMLC accepted, including not‑yet‑licensed candidates
Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
CV required in MM/YYYY format with all 30+ day gaps explained
