Orthopedic Surgeon Needed – Light Weekend Call | 1-Year Locum in Baltimore Area

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon for a weekend locum tenens call assignment starting at the end of September in Baltimore, MD & surrounding areas, covering the 3 Hospital locations. This is a 1-year contract with potential to extend. Coverage is one weekend per month: Friday 7:00 AM through Sunday 7:00 AM.

Position Highlights:

Schedule: 24hr Call, Friday–Sunday (7a–7a)

Call Volume: 4–5 calls/day, ~1 onsite visit (as needed)

Trauma Level: III

Support Staff: Residents, PAs, RNs

EMR: Cerner

Cases: Bread & butter ortho, fractures, some infections

Mostly 17+, rare pediatrics

Requirements:

Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery

Active state license (MD preferred)

Minimum 1 year of experience
