Orthopedic Surgeon Needed in Maryland

Job description

Orthopedic Surgeon Needed in MD:
Start Date: 9/22/2025
Contract Length: 1 year with option for extension
Schedule: 1 weekend per month (Fri-Sun), 24hr call coverage, 7a-7a
Work details:
- 4-5 calls per day and usually 1 onsite visit (as needed)
- Support staff: Locum will be working a PAs, residents and RNs
- Patient population/age: 17+ primarily, rare peds.
- EMR: Cerner
- Trauma: Level 3
- Skills required: Bread and butter, fractures, some infections

MD License Required (We can help license you)
Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks
Medical malpractice insurance, travel, and lodging provided
