🌟 Orthopedic Weekend Coverage Opportunity – Maryland | September Start | 1 Year Contract

Job description

1 weekend per month (Friday–Sunday)

24-hour call coverage (7 AM – 7 AM)

Average 4–5 calls per day with typically 1 onsite visit as needed

Work Details:

Support team includes PAs, residents, and RNs

Patient population primarily adults (17+), occasional pediatrics

Varied patient volume: 0–3 calls daily

Trauma Level 3 facility

EMR system: Cerner

Focus on general ortho cases: fractures and some infections

Requirements:

Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon

Active state medical license (no new licensing required)

Minimum 1 year post-training experience

Credentialing:

Emergency privileges granted within 2–3 weeks
