Facility:
This healthcare facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center serving the community with approximately 40,000 adult emergency visits annually. The facility features comprehensive orthopedic services with dedicated morning OR blocks and strong support for both general and trauma orthopedic cases, providing excellent opportunities for professional growth and patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician - Orthopaedic Surgery

Job Details:
• Provide Level II Orthopedic Trauma Call coverage 2 weekends per month (Friday 7am to Monday 7am)
• Handle general and trauma orthopedic cases with approximately 8 hours of total patient facing time per day
• Utilize 7am OR block each day for surgical procedures
• Must maintain Missouri medical license or IMLC eligibility
• Board certification required with Level 2 trauma experience acceptable (trauma fellowship preferred but not required)
• Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
• Perform arthroscopy procedures across multiple joints
• Conduct total joint replacements including hip, knee, and other joints
• Handle joint revision and repair procedures for shoulder, hip, and knee
• Provide hand surgery and tendon release/repair services
• Peripheral nerve surgery experience preferred
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
• Schedule flexibility with facility accommodating locum availability
• Ongoing assignment starting August 1st

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
