Orthopedic Surgeon Needed in Poplar Bluff, MO | 24-Hour Call | Ongoing | Travel Reimbursement

Job description

This is a call-only orthopedic surgery opportunity at an acute care hospital in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, covering 24-hour on-call on an ongoing assignment of approximately 13 weeks, starting ASAP. The provider must be located 90 or more miles from the facility, and credentialing runs approximately 90 days. Travel reimbursement is available.

The setting is inpatient orthopedic surgery, with about 10 patients per day, 11 operating rooms, and support from two RNs. Documentation is in Cerner.

Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery, with a Missouri license, a DEA, and BLS and ACLS.
