Orthopedic Surgeon Locums – Missouri | 24-Hour Call

Job description

A new Orthopedic Surgery locums opportunity is available in Missouri for a surgeon comfortable with trauma and a broad general orthopedic scope. This assignment offers recurring block coverage with APP support and travel provided.

Assignment Details:
Location: Missouri
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months with ongoing extension potential
Schedule: Thursday–Monday
Coverage: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Inpatient rounding + beeper call

Practice Setting:
Hospital-based
Adult and geriatric population
EMR: Epic
PA/NP and scrub tech support

Clinical Scope:
Inpatient rounding and consults
Trauma/ED orthopedic call
Ortho is first call for trauma fractures
Broad orthopedic case mix
No pelvic fractures required

Requirements:
Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
Active Missouri license required
IMLC candidates are not being considered at this time
DEA required
BLS & ACLS required
