Facility:
This facility is a Level II Trauma Center providing comprehensive surgical and emergency services to the surrounding region. The facility offers strong support staff including dedicated ED and OR teams, and utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system.

Physician - Surgery - Orthopedic

Job Details:

• Provide orthopedic surgery coverage for a Level II Trauma Center - no office hours required
• 24/7 on-call coverage in an inpatient and emergency department setting
• Perform general orthopedic care and fracture care as primary required procedures
• Surgical cases to be completed as needed based on call volume
• 1-2 patients per day expected; hospitalists will handle admissions
• Schedule coverage needed across multiple blocks: Aug 10-16, Sept 21-27, Oct 12-18, Nov 16-22, and Dec 7-13 (7a-7a shifts)
• Must hold an active Nebraska medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedics required
• Orthopedic residency required
• DEA certification required
• ATLS highly preferred
• Case logs required at time of presentation prior to interviewing or receiving an offer
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 30-60 days
• Preferred lodging available at Fairfield or Candlewood Suites using CHI discount rate
• EMR: EPIC
