Orthopedic Spine / Neuro-Spine Clinic Coverage (No Call | Flexible PT)

Job description

Outpatient clinic seeking Ortho Spine / Neuro-Spine coverage for a flexible, low-commitment schedule. Ideal for a surgeon who enjoys clinic evaluations and decision-making without OR requirements.

Schedule:
• 1 day per month to start (8a–5p)
• Option to ramp toward ~4 shifts/month
• No call

Case Mix / Duties:
• Predominantly non-surgical spine/ortho evaluations and workups
• Work up patients toward possible surgical intervention (no surgery included)
• Injury-style presentations (including whiplash-type cases)
• Procedures available but optional (e.g., epidurals, facets, joint/cortisone injections)
• Imaging via PACS; C-arm access available

Practice Style:
• No Schedule II prescribing (generally no narcotics)

Requirements:
• BC Orthopedics (spine/neuro-spine experience preferred)
• Active NC license
• Comfortable with efficient outpatient clinic flow
