Locums Outpatient-Orthopedic Spine Surgeon- injections only

Job description

Schedule:
• 3–4 days per month to start (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Very flexible scheduling

Facility:
• Outpatient Clinic / Private Practice
• EMR: Not specified
• Patient Population: Primarily adult, minimal pediatrics
• Patients per Day: ~25–30

Work Details:
• Work-up of general orthopedic and spine patients (non-surgical)
• Procedures may include: epidurals, facet injections, cortisone injections, joint injections, basic ortho workups, fracture care
• Imaging: PACS system; no plain film fluoroscopy in office, C-arm available
• Collaborative care with on-staff sports medicine and foot/ankle specialists
• No Schedule II narcotics prescribed; local anesthetics may be dispensed
• Physician will prepare patients for potential surgery, but surgery is not performed
Support Staff: PAs, NPs, Physiatrist, Pain Anesthesiologist, RN
