Orthopedic Surgeon needed for Locum Tenens coverage at government facility in OK

Job description

Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Commitment: Initial 6-month commitment with ability to extend
Schedule/Shifts Times: 2 week Block schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, splitting time between clinic & OR (60/40)

Call: weekday & weekend call on a rotating schedule
Patient Volume: 5-9 patients per day average in clinic, number of procedures per day while in surgery ~4
Patient Ages: Adults only (18+)
Types of Cases: Bread & Butter ortho/ musculoskeletal conditions, extremity fractures, etc.
Type of Charting: EMR
Requirements: BLS, ACLS (through American Heart), DEA
Credentialing Timeframe: 8 weeks on average
