Pennsylvania Orthopedic Surgery Locums - Clinic Only, 3 Days/Week, No Call

Job description

I am working with a Pennsylvania orthopedic practice seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon for a clinic-only locum assignment.

This is a three-day-per-week schedule with no call and no operative responsibilities. The surgeon will see approximately 20-30 patients per day, primarily personal injury, auto accident, slip-and-fall, and postoperative follow-up cases. There are no surgical consults.

Rare shoulder injections may come up, but they are not required if that is no longer part of your practice. Documentation is completed on paper charts with same-day notes expected.

The practice is looking for a Pennsylvania-licensed Orthopedic Surgeon with a DEA who is currently Board Certified or was previously certified. They are seeking an experienced surgeon with at least 10 years in practice. Qualified candidates may be able to credential in approximately 7-14 days.
