Orthopedic Surgery Locum Opportunity – WA

Dates Needed:
• February 23 – March 8

Schedule & Coverage:
• Clinic: 4 days per week
• OR: 1 day per week (8-hour day)
• Call: 2 weekends per month
– 24-hour call from Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
– Call-back consists of phone consults only (ER calls); providers are not required to return to campus after leaving for the day

Work Details:
• Clinic volume: 10–15 patients per day
• Patient population: Ages 5+
• General “bread-and-butter” orthopedics
• Comfortable with trauma, scopes, hip fixation, and arthroplasties

Support Staff:
• Orthopedic PA
• RN
• MA
• Registrar

Practice Setting:
• Ortho clinic located two blocks from the hospital
• OR cases performed in the hospital

Additional Details:
• EMR: Meditech Expanse
• Level IV orthopedic service

Requirements:
• Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Active Washington license required (IMLC accepted; willing to license)
• DEA required
• BLS / ACLS preferred
• Vaccines not required

Credentialing & Travel:
• Privileging timeframe: ~2 months
• All travel and lodging arranged by the client
