NP/PA – Trauma | San Diego, CA
Start: November 16, 2026
Contract: Through January 31, 2027, with strong possibility of extension
Employment: W2 Locum Tenens
No Call
Schedule
- 3x12-hour day shifts/week
- 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
- Monday–Sunday coverage
- Weekends and holidays required
Clinical
- Inpatient Trauma Floor & Stepdown Unit
- Daily rounding and progress notes
- Patient evaluations and ongoing clinical management
- Discharges and discharge planning
- Care coordination and trauma service support
- Up to 15 patients/day
- Approximately 1–2 APPs per shift
- No OR, first assist, or ICU-level care
Requirements
- Acute Care certification required
- Trauma experience required
- Level I Trauma experience strongly preferred
- Active California NP or PA license
- Current board certification
- BLS/CPR & ACLS
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced inpatient trauma setting
