Orthopedic Trauma APP needed in South Carolina

Job description

Position Highlights:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shifts: 6 am to 2 pm, 6 am to 6 pm, 6 pm to 6 am
- South Carolina License - REQUIRED
- Need ACLS or ATLS certification

Position Overview:
- Coverage includes OR, ICU, inpatient rounding, trauma call, emergency department consults, and post-operative care.
- No clinic responsibilities.

Schedule:
- Weekend: 24-hour call coverage
- Weekday Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (12-hour shifts may be considered if approved)
- Weekday Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (if approved)
- Weekend Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Level I Trauma call required.

Clinical Responsibilities:
- Orthopedic trauma surgery call coverage
- Operative cases in the OR
- ICU management
- Inpatient hospital rounding
- Emergency Department consults
- Post-operative patient care
- No outpatient clinic duties

Clinical Details:
- Setting: Inpatient/Level I Trauma Center
- Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day

Support Staff:
- Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Emergency Department support

- EMR:eClinicalWorks (eCW)
