Orthopedics PA/First Assist Needed in Rancho Mirage, California

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing
Shift Details: 3 12s
Schedule: 6:45am-7:15pm
Option for Part Time as well
Call requirements: Optional weekend or night call - if doing call, must have strong general surgery experience

Work Details:
· Support staff: In OR – surgeon, first assist, 1 tech and 1 rn
· # of providers requested: 2 FT, 1 PT
· Patients per day: Spine: 3-4 Total joints: 8/9
· Patient population/age: Average in late 70s, retired older population
· Department description:
· EMR: EPIC, first assist do not need to do any charting or rounding
· Hospital bed size: 3 different locations but 8 ors in DOC
· Special procedures:
· Skills required:

Requirements:
· Board Certification: Need master's degree
· License required: CA licensed
· DEA: Not needed
· Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS
· Minimum experience required: case by case

Credentialing Timeframe: 3 months, can get emergency privs
