About the clinician's workday

The physician associate will provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma surgery coverage with day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM on weekdays and 24-hour call shifts on weekends. Responsibilities include managing Level 1 trauma cases with OR coverage, hospital rounding, overnight call coverage, and post-operative visits, with an average daily patient volume of 20. The clinician will deliver ED support, consultations, and post-operative care for orthopedic trauma patients, performing reductions and wash out procedures. ACLS or ATLS certification and a South Carolina license are required for this assignment.
