Job description

* Start: October (ASAP available)
* Hospital-based, Level I Trauma Center
* No clinic responsibilities
* South Carolina license required

Schedule:

* Day shifts: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM or 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
* Night shifts: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
* Weekend 24-hour call coverage
* Level I Trauma call required

Practice Details:

* Orthopedic trauma surgery
* OR coverage
* ICU management
* Inpatient rounding
* Emergency Department consults
* Post-operative patient care
* Approximately 20 patients per day
* Split time between the operating room and inpatient rounding
* EMR: eClinicalWorks (eCW)

Support Staff:

* Registered Nurses
* Emergency Department team

Requirements:

* Physician Assistant with Orthopedic Trauma experience
* Active South Carolina license
* ACLS or ATLS required

Additional Information:

* Black scrubs required
