Locum Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon | Academic Level II Trauma Program | Philadelphia, PA | Full Travel Covered

Job description

Start: November 30, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks (flexible)
Coverage: Orthopedic trauma surgery
Schedule: Full time with 12- or 24-hour call
Call: 12- or 24-hour call
Volume: Approximately 320 operative cases per year
Practice Setting: High-volume academic trauma program at a Level II trauma center with an accredited orthopedic surgery residency

• Dedicated trauma and block OR time Monday–Friday
• Postoperative clinic with resident support
• Collaboration across trauma, orthopedics, anesthesia, and critical care teams
• Documentation in Epic
• Full travel covered

Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
• 2–3 years of experience preferred
• Active Pennsylvania license required
• Interview with medical director
