Job description
Specialty: Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
Start Date: As soon as credentialed (60–90 days; emergency privileging possible with clean file)
Duration: Ongoing until permanent hire is made (extension or perm option available)
Position Highlights
Schedule: 4-week rotation; 7-day block every 4 weeks
Shift: Day shift only, pager call 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Call: No night call
Volume: 3–4 surgical cases/day; bread & butter trauma (pelvic trauma experience preferred, not required)
Support: Strong PA team for OR assist and rounding
Clinic: None currently (subject to change)
Case Types: Geriatric fractures, neck, and general trauma cases
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
Trauma-trained; experience with bread & butter trauma cases required
WA license or IMLC (licensing support available)
Open to new grads coming out of residency
