Ortho trauma surgeon needed in WA

Job description

-Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
-Will emergency privileging be considered? Yes, but provider must have clean file
-Required Subspecialty or Case Types:
(e.g., general, joints, trauma, sports, hand, foot & ankle) – bread and butter trauma cases; pelvic trauma experience preferred but not required
-Inpatient consults or rounding expected? Yes
-Will the provider have clinic responsibilities? This could change, but for now, no
-Average surgical cases per day/week: 3-4 cases per day
-Are APPs or surgical assistants provided? – lots of Physician Assistants for OR assist and rounding
-Provider Requirements:
-Board Certification Required – will consider BE
• Fellowship Training Required: ortho trauma surg
• Minimum Years of Experience: will look at someone out of residency
• Must provider be trauma-trained: yes
• Any required procedures or must-have skills: Geriatric fractures, neck; but overall bread and butter trauma cases

-Licensure & Credentialing:
• Which state license(s) are required? WA state license or IMLC
• Will the facility consider licensing support for out-of-state providers? Yes
-Additional Information:
• Is there an opportunity to extend or go perm? Yes
