Hi,

This is Sergio Cayetano with Aya Locums, and I’m excited to share a new Orthopedic Trauma Surgery locum opportunity in Washington State. This role offers flexible scheduling, a competitive pay rate, and the chance to work with a dedicated trauma team.

📌 Assignment Highlights:
📅 Start Date: As soon as credentialed (emergency privileging considered)
🗓 Contract: Ongoing until a permanent option is hired
⏱ Coverage Options: 1 week/month or 1–2 days/week for local providers
🩺 Shift Details: Day shifts, 6:30am–6:30pm pager call. 12-hour clinical shift includes seeing patients, surgeries, rounding, and consults. No night call.
💻 Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
🏥 Inpatient & Clinic Duties: Inpatient consults and rounding expected; clinic responsibilities may vary
🔹 Surgical Cases: 3–4 cases per day, including general, joints, trauma, sports, hand, foot & ankle; pelvic trauma experience preferred but not required
👥 Support Staff: Multiple Physician Assistants for OR assist and rounding

✅ Requirements:
• Board Certification (BE considered)
• Fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
• Trauma-trained (geriatric fractures, neck, and general trauma cases)
• WA State License or IMLC

💲 Pay Rate: Competitive
