Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon – Level II Trauma | North Seattle, WA
Job description
A Level II Trauma Center in Everett, Washington is seeking a part-time, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to provide ongoing coverage while permanent recruitment is underway. This role offers a consistent daytime schedule, strong surgical support, and a reliable trauma case mix.
Position Overview
The provider will manage inpatient orthopedic trauma consults, perform surgical cases, and participate in daytime pager call coverage. Clinic responsibilities are not required at this time. The facility is supported by multiple Physician Assistants who assist with OR cases and rounding.
Schedule & Work Environment
• Start Date: July 1, 2026
• Coverage Need: Ongoing until permanent hire
• Schedule: 1–2 days per week (Mondays and Thursdays)
• Hours: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM (pager call)
• No night call
• Trauma Level: II
• Average Volume: 3–4 surgical cases per day
• EMR: Epic
• Support: Robust APP coverage for OR assist and inpatient care
Case Mix
• Bread-and-butter orthopedic trauma
• Geriatric fractures
• Neck fractures
• Pelvic trauma preferred (not required)
Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive daily rate (based on experience and availability)

Provider Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma (required)
• Trauma-trained
• Open to new graduates out of fellowship
• Active Washington license or IMLC eligibility required
• Providers local to Washington or the Pacific Northwest strongly preferred
Credentialing
• Timeframe: 60–90 days
• Emergency privileges available for providers with a clean file
