Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner- Otolaryngology

Job Details:

  • Outpatient, clinic-only position covering approximately 4 days per week in a Pediatric ENT and Pediatric Urology post-op setting
  • Pediatric ENT clinic coverage approximately 2.5-3 days per week; Pediatric Urology post-op visit coverage approximately 0.5-1 day per week
  • Shift hours are 8:30am-5:00pm with admin time from 8:00-8:30am and 4:30-5:00pm, patient care visits 8:30am-12:00pm and 1:00-4:30pm, and a 1-hour lunch break
  • Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime applicable after 9 hours per day
  • Approximately 14 patient encounters per shift
  • Most common office diagnoses include evaluation of tonsils, adenoids, and otitis media
  • Responsibilities include wound assessment and suture removal
  • Flexible endoscopy experience is preferred
  • Experience with nasal cautery and foreign body removal is preferred
  • Urology experience is a plus, as providers may be asked to assist with post-op urology visits if comfortable
  • Active Oregon medical license required; licensure in OR only accepted
  • Board certified or truly board eligible required
  • Active DEA required; BLS certification required
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days; targeting a late August or September 1st start date
  • Interviews conducted via Microsoft Teams with the physician leader, typically available Tuesdays between 1:00-2:00pm PST
  • No call required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
