This healthcare facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center providing comprehensive emergency and specialty services to the central Nebraska region. The hospital maintains high standards for trauma care and requires 24/7 ENT coverage to maintain its trauma center designation, ensuring excellent patient outcomes and professional support.

Opportunity:
Physician - Otolaryngology

Job Details:
• Provide ENT call coverage for Level II Trauma Center over weekends
• Respond to requests from trauma and emergency department physicians
• Handle 2-4 patient encounters per day
• Perform required procedures including adenoidectomy, audiogram, lump/tumor removal, and tonsillectomy
• Work with EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with anesthesia, CRNA, and surgery department support staff
• Coverage needed to maintain facility's Level II Trauma center status
• Must be board certified in Otolaryngology
• Nebraska medical license required or ability to obtain within a few months (compact license acceptable)
• DEA certification required
• Clean malpractice history required
• Self-Query NPDB report mandatory within 30 days of presentation
• Credentialing timeframe 30-90 days depending on candidate
• Specific coverage dates in 2026: December 24 and December 28 at 7am
• FTE: 0.33

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
