Locum Tenens Otolaryngologist (ENT) – Danville, PA

Geisinger Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Otolaryngologist to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage for a long-term physician vacancy in Danville, Pennsylvania.

Position Details
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment: Ongoing, long-term coverage
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM clinic, with 4:00–5:00 PM administrative time
Call: Beeper call from 5:00 PM–8:00 AM with a flexible call schedule (not every night)
Practice Scope
This opportunity includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities with a broad range of general ENT care, including:

General Otolaryngology
Endoscopy
Septal and sinus procedures
Flexible and rigid bronchoscopy
Flexible and rigid laryngoscopy
Tracheotomy
Thyroidectomy
Extended parotidectomy
Radical neck surgery
Facial reconstruction and facial surgery
Facial implants
Blepharoplasty
Rhinoplasty
Complex head and neck procedures
Additional Responsibilities
Inpatient and outpatient coverage
Admissions and assigned patient rounding
Resident supervision and teaching
Average of 20 clinic patients per day
30-minute call response time
Practice at a Level I Trauma Center and Level I Pediatric Facility
Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC eligibility at the time of submission
BLS certification required
Fellowship training preferred but not required
