Pain Management APP with Aya Locums in Western Florida!

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced NP and/or PA for a well-established outpatient pain management and orthopedic practice in Florida for a 26-week contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider with strong musculoskeletal and injection experience seeking a flexible, low-volume schedule in a collaborative clinical setting.

Position Details
-Contract Length: 26 weeks
-Practice Setting: Clinic / Private Practice
-Patient Population: Adult

Practice Overview
-This outpatient practice specializes in musculoskeletal care, interventional pain support, orthopedics, and TRT management. The APP will provide clinic-based patient care under the supervision of the Medical Director, including evaluations, treatment planning, injections, patient education, and ongoing management of orthopedic and pain-related conditions.

Responsibilities
-Conduct patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
-Perform trigger point and joint injections independently
-Assist with patient preparation for procedures, including consents and pre/post care
-Discuss interventional spine procedures such as epidurals, medial branch blocks (MBB), facet injections, and RFAs
-Prescribe and manage TRT (training available if needed)

Required Skills & Experience
-MUST have independent experience performing trigger point and joint injections
-Strong orthopedic and musculoskeletal assessment skills
-Experience in pain management, orthopedics, PM&R, or sports medicine preferred
-TRT experience preferred but not required - willing to learn

Requirements
-Board Certification Required
-Active Florida License Required
-Active DEA Required

Credentialing
-Estimated timeframe: 30–45 days
