Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Pain Management – Lenoir, NC

Contract Length: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
Shifts/Schedule:

3 days per week (Tuesday – Thursday)

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

No call

Job Details:

Setting: Clinic located within hospital

Support Staff: Nursing and administrative support; onsite physician available on Fridays

Responsibilities: Follow-ups, medication management, and treatment plans

Provider will receive ongoing training and support from onsite physician on the latest methods for diagnosing and treating both chronic and acute pain

Procedures: Pain medicine interventions including injections and neuromodulation

Patient Population: Adults

Average Daily Census: Varies

EMR: (To be provided by facility)

Vaccines: Mandatory

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required

Experience: Minimum 2 years in Pain Management required

State License: Active NC license required (not willing to license)

DEA: Required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Credentialing Timeframe: ~60 days
