2 LOCUM physicians needed for Pain Management
Job description
Start: Sep1st- Ongoing
EMR: Epic
Setting: outpatient
PPD: 12-15
LOCUM- Pain Medicine
ACTIVE FLURO is required.
- Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per day
- Overtime applies after 9 hours per day
Full time need Monday-Friday. We can consider one full time provider or we would look at 2 providers- 2 weeks on, two weeks off.

Surgery Center/Hospital Privileges are needed since they will be in the surgery center for 2 days a week. Clinic the other 3 days a week. The provider will work 2 days per week in the outpatient surgery center next door and 3 days per week in the clinic setting. All epidurals, facet injections, ablations, and other procedures are performed at the surgery center.
Here are some of the clinical requirements from the DOP we wanted to share forward as well:
Current certification in Fluoroscopy by the California Radiologic Health Branch is required.
• EDUCATION/TRAINING:
• • Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency training program in Anesthesiology or
• Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• • Successful completion of a fellowship training program in Pain Management and/or Pain Medicine; or
• Successful completion of a fellowship training program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
CURRENT CLINICAL COMPETENCE––NEW APPLICANTS:
• • If applying directly from training, or based on the training received in a formal training program, provider
• should submit case logs from the program for the previous 24 months documenting the performance of
• at least 100 cases representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested.
• • If applying more than 1 year after training completion, provide case logs documenting the performance of
• at least 100 cases of anesthesia and/or pain management services representative of the scope and
• complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months
- Outpatient setting seeing 12-15 patients per day
