Join a dynamic and growing Interventional Pain Management team providing PRN coverage across multiple outpatient centers in Florida’s Gulf Coast region. This ongoing locums opportunity offers flexible shifts and support from a seasoned care team.

Position Details:
Specialty: Interventional Pain Management Physician

Location: Float between Venice, Port Charlotte, Bradenton, and Sarasota, FL

Type: PRN Locum Tenens – Ongoing, as needed

Start Date: ASAP

Shift Length: 10 hours/day with 1-hour lunch & dashboard review

Schedule: A couple of days per week or more, depending on availability

EMR Support: Medical Assistants draft notes for review/sign-off


Practice & Setting:
Outpatient surgery center setting

Floating between 2 ORs per day

Daily volume: 40–45 procedures/day (may vary by schedule)

Procedure Types (Weekly Volume Expected):
Lumbar Transforaminal

Thoracic & Cervical Epidural Steroid Injections

Lumbar, Thoracic, & Cervical Facet MBN RFA

Caudal Steroid Injections

Sacroiliac Joint Injections

Advanced Procedures (Recent Experience Required):

Spinal Cord Stimulator (Trial and Permanent)

Lumbar Kyphoplasty

Sacroplasty

MILD

SIJ Fusion

Intracept

Minuteman

Vertiflex

Requirements:
Board Certification:

Pain Management through ABPM, ABIPP, or ABA (Anesthesiology)

PM&R with Pain Management board certification accepted

Sports medicine–only providers not eligible

Experience: Minimum 5 years of interventional pain management experience

Licensure: Active Florida license required

Other: Must be comfortable performing high-volume injections and advanced interventional procedures
