New Locums Opportunity in Florida - Interventional Pain Management - Willing to License!

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Pain Management physician for a part-time locum opportunity beginning in September (ideal start). This is a 26-week assignment with the potential for additional shifts as the practice grows.

Assignment Details
-Start Date: September (preferred)
-Contract Length: 26 weeks
-Schedule: 2 days per month to start
-Clinic: 1 Thursday per month
-Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC): 1 Friday per month
-Shift Times: Vary based on clinic and ASC needs
-Call: None
-Coverage Needed: 2 days per month initially, with the possibility of additional shifts becoming available

Practice Setting
-Ambulatory Surgery Center
-Outpatient Clinic/Private Practice
-Patient Population: Adult spine and pain management patients

Procedures
-Medial Branch Blocks (MBB)/Facet Injections
-Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
-Epidural Steroid Injections
-TenJet procedures
-Tenotomy
-Minimally invasive spine procedures, including discectomy and Intracept

Ideal Candidate
-High-volume interventional spine experience
-Proficient in MBB, RFA, and epidural procedures
-Experience performing minimally invasive pain procedures, including discectomy and tenotomy
-Comfortable working independently in both ASC and clinic settings
-Efficient in a fast-paced outpatient environment

Requirements
-Board Certified or Board Eligible
-Active DEA required
-Active state license preferred; candidates requiring licensure will be considered
-Credentialing: Approximately 30 days
