Anesthesiology Physician Needed in Iowa
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Length: 6 months
Schedule: 5x8s
No CRNAs here, so no supervising.
2 years of experience required.
Must be open to working in these environments: 13 ORs, 5 Endo suites, 2 ASC (10 miles away from main hospital)
EMR: Epic
Case Info: all types of general cases/bread and butter; very limited heads and hearts.
Do about 700 trauma cases per year, all major trauma goes to the University down the road. Majority trauma is blunt force and agricultural accidents
*Not much infancy/very young peds cases. Majority of peds cases are tubes and tonsils, they have a busy ENT practice, older “peds” might be a middle or high school kid needing an orthopedic surgery or their appendix taken out

Credentialing Timeframe: 4 weeks if they have an IA/IMLC license, maybe less.
Active IA License Required (IMLC accepted!)
Medical malpractice insurance, travel, and lodging provided
