Pain Management
Job ID: LT-283609
Interventional Pain Physician Needed in Hazlet, NJ | Clinic + ASC | Part-Time | ~2-4 Shifts/Month
Job description
This is a part-time interventional pain opportunity based in Hazlet, New Jersey, with coverage across South and Central NJ locations, spanning an ambulatory surgery center and clinic/private practice with high procedural volume in spine and minimally invasive procedures for an adult population. The commitment is about two to four shifts per month (open to increasing with the right provider), with a mix of office days and ASC days - roughly one to two office days plus two to four ASC days per month, Wednesday-Saturday depending on region. Coverage may be fulfilled by one provider supporting multiple NJ locations or by separate providers per region. The assignment runs approximately 13 weeks, and credentialing runs approximately 30 days. Local candidates are preferred.
The physician performs the full range of interventional pain procedures, including epidural steroid injections (ESIs), medial branch blocks and facet injections, radiofrequency ablations (RFA), nerve blocks, minimally invasive disc procedures (percutaneous discectomy), and TenJet/tenotomy procedures. High-volume interventional spine experience is essential, with proficiency in MBB, RFA, and epidural procedures, and comfort working independently in both the ASC and clinic. Please note: providers must be out of network with BCBS - providers in-network with BCBS in another state (such as NY) are generally considered in-network in NJ and would not qualify.
Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible, with a New Jersey license (already-licensed preferred, though the client will consider providers who need licensing) and a DEA.
