Position Overview
Seeking a Pain Medicine Interventional Provider. A fellowship is required (ACGME accreditation not required).
The provider will deliver high-quality care to pain clinic patients and participate in quality assurance activities.
Schedule Details
Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Call: Office call only (after hours and weekends)
Float: Coverage required at the ambulatory clinic and Clifton Springs OR space
Patient Acuity: Ambulatory only
Support Staff: Secretary and LPN onsite during clinic days
Lunch Break: Typically 12:00 PM–1:00 PM
Required Procedures
Candidates must be proficient in:
Epidural Steroid Injections (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
Medial Branch Blocks (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
Radiofrequency Ablation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
Nerve Blocks (various anatomical sites)
Trigger Point Injections
Sacroiliac Joint Injections
Spinal Cord Stimulator (trial placements only)
Genicular Nerve Blocks and Genicular RFA
Intercostal Nerve Blocks
Piriformis Injections
Requirements
Board Certified (Board Eligible noted above, but BC required per submission guidelines)
Fellowship Training Required (ACGME not required)
Minimum Experience: 1–2 years post-fellowship
NY State License: Active and in hand
Certifications: BLS
EMR: Epic experience required
Updated work history with no gaps greater than 30 days
If any malpractice history exists (dismissed or pending), a physician statement is required

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a scheduled basis, including call coverage
Deliver comprehensive medical care onsite, in the hospital, or at home as medically indicated
Coordinate diagnostic testing, treatment plans, and referral care
Supervise and collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff
Participate in peer review and quality assurance activities
Assist in residency and medical student education, as applicable
Comply with hospital, local, state, and federal regulations
Maintain professionalism, accountability, and a collaborative attitude
Age-Specific Competency
Provider must demonstrate competency in treating:
Neonates (<1 month)
Infants (1 month–1 year)
Children (1–12 years)
Adolescents (13–17 years)
Adults (18–64 years)
Geriatrics (65+ years)
