Pain Management Physician – Locums

Job description

Seeking a Board Certified Pain Management Physician for a 3–6 month locums assignment in West Virginia starting December 7, 2026.

This is a hospital-based Pain Clinic with a consistent Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule and approximately 15 patients per day. Coverage is needed 2–3 weeks per month, with preference for one provider.

The physician will have support from 2 RNs and a radiology technologist and will manage a diverse procedural pain practice.

Procedures include:

Fluoroscopically guided spinal injections
Cervical, thoracic and lumbar epidural steroid injections
Medial branch blocks and RFA
Joint, SI joint and facet injections
Trigger-point injections
Peripheral nerve blocks
Ultrasound-guided injections and procedures
Intrathecal pump experience preferred

Requirements:

Board Certified
5+ years of experience
Accredited Pain Fellowship or qualifying board certification
DEA required
WV license required; IMLC or temporary WV license eligibility may be considered
Credentialing: 60+ days

Assignment: 3–6 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Coverage: 2–3 weeks/month
