Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Pain Management Physician for a locum tenens assignment in West Virginia. This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, no call, and a collaborative pain clinic setting.

Assignment Details
- Location: West Virginia
- Start Date: December 2026
- Coverage: Scheduled + No Call
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Coverage Needed: 2–3 weeks per month
- Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients per day
- Patient Population: Adults ages 30–80
- EMR: NextGen
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60+ days

Required Skills
- Fluoroscopically guided spinal injections
- Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural steroid injections
- Medial branch blocks and radiofrequency ablations
- Joint, SI joint, facet, and trigger-point injections
- Peripheral nerve blocks
- Ultrasound-guided procedures
- Intrathecal pump experience preferred

Requirements
- Board certification required
- Accredited pain fellowship or qualifying board certification
- Minimum five years of experience
- Active state license required; IMLC accepted where applicable
- DEA required
- Licensing assistance available

Practice Setting
- Pain clinic/private practice
- Hospital setting
- Support staff includes two RNs and a radiology technician
