Locum Interventional Pain Management Physician | Hospital Pain Clinic | Elkins, WV | Mon–Fri, No Call

Job description

Start: December 7, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 3–6 months
Coverage: Hospital-based outpatient pain clinic
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00–16:30; 2–3 weeks per month
Call: No call
Volume: About 15 patients per day
Practice Setting: Pain clinic within an acute care hospital
Patient Population: Adults, ages 30–80
Procedures: Fluoroscopically guided spinal injections, ESIs, medial branch blocks, RFA, joint and SI injections, facet injections, trigger points, peripheral nerve blocks, ultrasound-guided procedures

• Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural steroid injections
• Medial branch blocks and lumbar/cervical radiofrequency ablation
• Joint, SI joint, facet, and trigger-point injections
• Peripheral nerve blocks and ultrasound-guided procedures
• Intrathecal pump experience preferred
• Supported by 2 RNs and a rad tech for procedures
• Documentation in NextGen
• Travel covered

Requirements
• Board Certified; accredited pain fellowship or qualifying board certification
• West Virginia license, IMLC, or eligibility for a WV temporary license
• DEA required
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Credentialing: approximately 60+ days
