Sacramento, CA – Pediatric Anesthesiologist Locums
Aya Locums is seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist for a 6-month locums opportunity in Sacramento, California.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Approximately 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- No weekends or holidays
- No call
- Up to 50 hours per week
- High-acuity academic medical center
- Primarily pediatric patients from birth through age 21
- May occasionally care for adolescent/young adult patients on the adult side
- Potential for independent/solo coverage
- Epic EMR
- Travel and lodging provided
Clinical Scope:
- Pediatric anesthesia and airway management
- Sedation and perioperative care
- Pediatric pain management
- Medically complex pediatric patients
- Cardiac, neurological, trauma and emergency procedures
- Teaching and collaboration within an academic environment
Requirements:
- M.D. or D.O.
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship training preferred
- Active California medical license
- Active DEA
- Current CPR certification
- 50 hours of CME within the past 2 years
- Fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist or at least 2 years of active practice
