Compensation:

Job Responsibilities:
‣ Provide safe and effective anesthesia care for pediatric patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures.
‣ Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
‣ Monitor patients throughout procedures and manage post-anesthesia recovery.
‣ Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
‣ Participate in quality improvement and performance enhancement initiatives.
‣ Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and accreditation regulations and standards.
‣ Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
‣ Adhere to infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and emergency response procedures.
‣ Utilize appropriate equipment, supplies, and clinical practices for pediatric and adult patient care as needed.
‣ Support departmental goals, policies, and procedures while promoting high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
‣ Education & Experience
‣ Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited school of medicine.
‣ Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency program.
‣ Completion of a one-year Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship from an accredited institution.
‣ Minimum of three (3) years of clinical practice experience in pediatric anesthesiology.
‣ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
Licensure & Certifications:
‣ Valid State of Nevada medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
‣State of Nevada Pharmacy Board License to Prescribe Medications.
‣ DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate.
‣ Some positions may require:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Certifications must be obtained through the American Heart Association (AHA).
