Pediatric Anesthesiologist Needed in Staten Island, NY

Job description

Job Title: Anesthesiologist – Locum Tenens
Location: Staten Island, NY
Duration: 13 weeks (Ongoing)
Schedule:
10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
20 hours guaranteed per week
5–6 beeper calls per month
PRN holiday coverage
Regular in-house hours: Not required

On-Call Requirements:
Weeknight: Pager call required
Weekend: Pager call required
In-house call: Not needed

Board Certification Required: Yes – Anesthesiology
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Patient Population: Adults and Pediatrics
EMR: Meditech (paper charting also used)
Support Staff: MDs only (no CRNA supervision; MDs do own cases)
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days
