Position Overview

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible **Pediatric Anesthesiologist** for a locum tenens assignment at a busy Level I Trauma Center in Dayton, Ohio. This opportunity offers a weekday-only schedule with no call responsibilities while providing anesthesia care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult surgical patients.

Providers will work in a collaborative care team model, performing a combination of independent cases and supervising CRNAs.

Practice Highlights

* ACS Level I Trauma Center
* 14 Operating Rooms
* 50–60 surgical cases per day
* Patient population ranges from neonatal to adult
* No cardiac or transplant anesthesia
* No pain management cases
* No anesthesia cart preparation required

Required Qualifications

* MD or DO
* Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology
* Completion of an accredited Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship
* Active Ohio Medical License
* BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
* Clean malpractice and professional history preferred

Required Clinical Experience

* Neonatal, pediatric, and adult general anesthesia
* Thoracic procedures (excluding open-heart)
* Complex orthopedic surgery
* Neurosurgery
* Ventilation management

**Preferred Experience**

* Arterial line placement
* Hemodynamic and acute volume management
* Broad pediatric anesthesia experience across multiple surgical specialties

Credentialing Requirements

Candidates should be prepared to provide the following upon acceptance:

* Active medical license
* DEA (if applicable)
* BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
* CAQH information
* Fingerprinting completion
* Additional credentialing documentation requested by the facility
