# Pediatric Anesthesiologist – Locum Tenens

**Position:** Pediatric Anesthesiologist
**Type:** Locum Tenens – Hospital Based
**Coverage:** November 2026 through April 2027, with potential extension through October 2027
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
**Call:** None
**Patient Population:** Neonatal through Adult

## ⚡ POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

* **3 full-time Pediatric Anesthesiologists needed**
* **Level I Trauma Center**
* Hospital-based operating rooms
* Approximately **50–60 surgical cases per day**
* **14 operating rooms**
* Mix of practicing independently and **supervising CRNAs in a care-team model**
* Broad pediatric surgical case mix
* Collegial multidisciplinary OR team
* Travel expenses may be reimbursed, including **flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage**
* No cardiac, cath lab, or transplant cases

## 🏥 CLINICAL SCOPE

Provide anesthesia services for a broad range of cases, including:

* Neonatal and pediatric general surgery
* Adult general surgery
* Neurosurgery
* Orthopedics
* Plastic surgery
* Urology
* Dental
* GI
* Radiology
* Thoracic surgery, excluding open-heart procedures

## 📋 REQUIREMENTS

* **Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology**
* **Completion of a Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship required**
* Active **Ohio medical license**
* BLS, ACLS, and PALS
* Experience with:

* Neonatal, pediatric, and adult general surgical cases
* Thoracic cases, excluding open heart
* Complex orthopedic cases
* Neurosurgical cases
* Ventilation management
* Arterial line placement
* Acute volume/BP management
* Clean background and malpractice history

**Coverage Periods:**

* November 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027
* November 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027
* Potential extension through October 2027
