Position Overview
• Specialty: Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Provider Type: MD or DO
• Practice Setting: Academic, inpatient hospital based
• Clinical Environment:
o Level I trauma environment
o High acuity pediatric surgical population
o ~900 hospital beds
• Scope of Practice:
o Provider must be comfortable doing their own cases
o Supervision of residents and CRNAs required
o Supportive teaching role with residents and medical students
• Daily Volume:
o 4–5 hospital cases per day
o 4–5 elective cases per day
• Travel: Covered (caps apply)

Provider Requirements
• Board Certification:
o ABMS or AOA required
o Board Eligible accepted
• Fellowship: Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship required
• Experience:
o Minimum 1 year of experience
o New graduates not accepted
• Certifications:
o DEA required
o PALS or ACLS
o BLS (AHA required)
• Case Logs:
o Minimum 100 pediatric anesthesia cases within the past 12 months required
• Background:
o Clean background required
o No malpractice history accepted
• Licensure: Facility willing to license
• Support Staff: Anesthesiologists and CRNAs available daily
