Aya Locums is seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) to provide coverage at a high-volume, well-supported hospital in Oklahoma. Assignment Details
• Start Date: June 2026
• Contract Length: Ongoing coverage (initial schedule provided)
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Call Requirement: None – scheduled hours only

Work Details
• Specialty: Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Patient Volume: 4–5 cases per day (primarily elective pediatric cases)
• Case Mix: Hospital-based procedures with a consistent pediatric focus
• Responsibilities:
– Independently manage anesthesia for pediatric cases
– Provide supervision and guidance to residents and CRNAs
– Support and assist in training residents and medical students
• Case Logs: Minimum of 100 pediatric anesthesia cases within the past 12 months required
• Certifications Required:
– BLS (AHA)
– PALS or ACLS
– Active DEA

• Facility Type: Large acute care hospital (~900 beds)
• Environment: Team-oriented with strong anesthesia department support
• Support Staff: Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and trainees available daily

• License: Oklahoma license preferred; willing to license
• Board Certification: Required (Anesthesiology)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year (no new graduates)
• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60–90 days
